As part of Sidney Gold Rush Days, Peter and Kathy Gibbs will provide detailed and first hand experiences into both past and present Lakota culture by displaying a completely furnished 18’ Lakota tipestola along with sharing numerous stories and cultural insights about the Lakota people. The Gibbs will be present throughout the festival and will give more formal presentations at the following times: Friday, June 7 @ 5:40 p.m. Saturday, June 8 @ 9:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9 @ 10:15 a.m. Many other presentations and performances will take place throughout the festival.
