(Formerly Capitol Forum on America’s Future)

Nebraska Forum encourages high school students to develop a better understanding of democratic principles and cultivate critical thinking skills as they discuss global issues with their peers and elected officials.

Presented by Humanities Nebraska in cooperation with the Nebraska Secretary of State Robert Evnen, Nebraska Forum continues the Capitol Forum tradition of encouraging high school students to investigate global issues such as conflict, human migration, technology, energy, climate and trade. In March, delegations from each participating high school journey to Lincoln to discuss these topics from peers around the state. Students also have the opportunity to interact with members of the Unicameral and other elected officials.

If you would like to help sponsor this life-changing program, please contact Erin L. Moran, director of development, at 402.474.2131.
