Dr. Nikita Harris will give a lecture on the history and significance of African American debutante cotillion balls. Dr. Nikita Harris is a distinguished scholar, public historian, and advocate for preserving African American cultural heritage who used her Reese Phifer Fellowship to study African American Cotillions and Black Debutante Social Programs across the United States.
