Voices AMPLIFIED! is a cultural engagement series that celebrates artists from diverse cultures and creates opportunities for discussion, reflection, and new experiences. Each season elevates a different historically underrepresented community by pairing international and national touring artists with local artists and organizations for panel discussions, workshops, and other special events. The 24/25 Season will continue amplifying voices from past seasons with a special focus on voices with disabilities. Experience a special gallery event featuring artists with disabilities at Hot Shops. Some of the featured artists will be present and engage in a Q&A. Tickets are required. The suggested ticket price is $10, but options to pay more or less are available, including a free ticket for people for whom cost is a barrier. This event featuring Omaha’s own Wai Yim and Jimmy Nguyen will highlight the work and voices of Asian American theater artists. Wai Yim is an actor, director, choreographer, playwright and Managing Director of Token Theatre in Chicago.
