What does it take to build trust and understanding during conflict? Join us for a meaningful conversation with Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Khalid Abu Awwad, two of the leaders of Roots/Shorashim/Judur, a local Palestinian-Israeli initiative dedicated to promoting understanding, nonviolence, and transformation. Rabbi Hanan and Khalid will share their personal journeys and the work Roots is doing in the West Bank to build trust, create new partnerships, and explore paths toward freedom and security for both Palestinians and Israelis. Following their presentation will be a traditional Inclusive Communities small group Table Talk discussions inviting the participants to share their personal journeys to creating peace and inclusion in our community.
