The North Platte Pow Wow will showcase the culture and tradition of Native Americans with dancers, singers, special guests, and many vendors! Everyone is welcome! The grand entry is a must see and will be performed Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 1pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 1pm. Admission is $7 per person or $15 for a weekend pass. All attendees 65+, under 5, all veterans, and active duty military will receive free admission. No pets or alcohol are allowed. Anyone parking on the grounds of Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park must have a Nebraska Game and Parks Permit.

There will be activities in the arena and the emcee will contribute color commentary and educate the spectators on different aspects of the dance and drumming, Native culture, art and lifestyles. Pow Wows are the Native American people’s way of meeting together, to join in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships, and making new ones. This is a time-honored ritual to renew Native American culture and preserve the rich heritage of American Indians.
