Flatwater Festival Free Afternoon Event – livestream (Read More)

What does the future hold for Nebraskans when it comes to our economy? Our diversity? Our biggest city, Omaha? The Flatwater Free Press will tackle these questions and more at its third annual Flatwater Festival on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The event includes a free forum from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on the campus of Creighton University, where journalists will be in conversation with newsmakers about the future of our state. THE FREE AFTERNOON IN-PERSON EVENT HAS FILLED, BUT A LIVESTREAM OPTION IS AVAILABLE. The afternoon forum will be available via livestream. “The Intersection Between Faith and Climate Change: A Conversation with Local Experts” will feature a panel moderated by Tri-Faith executive director Wendy Goldberg. The panelists include: tribal college faculty Martha Durr OPPD’s Cliff Fleener Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light executive director Kenneth Winston chemical engineer Tamir Ayad This is a free event.
