Kent Warneke and Kevin Warneke grew up in Plainview, Nebraska, where their father published the community’s weekly newspaper. Both worked as reporters for the Omaha World-Herald for a time. Kevin pursued a career in nonprofit administration and fundraising. The lifelong Nebraskans both are married with grown children.
