We bring together kids ages 6-10 and their families for a light meal, and then we read and discuss award-winning children’s books with themes like courage, responsibility and fairness. The long-term results include measurably improved academic success for the kids, increased literacy for the entire family, and a better connection to the resources available at their local public libraries.
