In commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States and its evolving vision of democracy, Humanities Nebraska wants to explore a selection of the stories that have helped give our country its rich tapestry of backgrounds and perspectives.  Some of these stories will be new and some will be a fresh look at familiar stories central to the development of our country.
