An in-person and livestreamed panel discussion on the influence of salsa and the musical traditions of Latin America on jazz featuring jazz legend and guest artist Sammy Figueroa and local Omaha salsa and jazz musicians, moderated by Alexis Arai.
This event is part of Omaha Performing Arts’ “Voices Amplified” series. The 22/23 Season – Sabores de la Cultura Latina / Celebrating the Many Flavors of Latino/Hispanic Culture – will highlight Latino and Hispanic voices (while continuing conversations from past seasons).
