Race, Data, and Research for Improving Social Conditions and Healing

Thursday, March 24, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom. It is free and open to the public.

Featuring Dr. Ryan Spohn. He is Director of the Nebraska Center for Justice Research (NCJR), a research center affiliated with the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. A’Jamal Byndon, Chair of the MORE Board of Directors, will interview Dr. Spohn about data focusing on racial disparities in criminal justice and correctional systems.

Learn why data is important, and how to get more engaged in understanding local data about race. There will be ample opportunity for direct conversation and Q&A with Dr. Spohn during the second half of this event.
