Prime Time Family Reading (for families with children ages 6 to 10) and Prime Time Preschool (for families with children ages 3 to 5) are six-week programs designed to strengthen early literacy skills, critical thinking, and family engagement. Each week includes an interactive reading of an award-winning children’s book, discussion among families over themes found in the book, and hands-on literacy activities for preschoolers.

July 1 is the application deadline to host a Fall 2025 Prime Time in Nebraska. We accept applications from schools, libraries, community centers, museums, churches, and other non-profit organizations. Prime Time is FREE to host and FREE for families to attend.
