Daniel Martinez is a flamenco and Latin American arts guitarist, composer and teacher from Peru. He will bring his special blend of cultural background education, working with young people, and music and culture from South American countries of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, and others, along with musical styles of flamenco, rumba, bossa nova, and more. All of these styles have roots in the multicultural blend of Spanish, Indigenous, and South American histories and cultures.

Students and their families will hear, learn about, and discuss the music, roots, and meaning of global cultures expressed through music and discovered right here in Nebraska.
