Free online events to help you connect with history and culture!
HN’s Speakers Bureau has been the mainstay of HN’s programming for 40 years and provides communities across the state with engaging speakers who spark learning and discussion in schools, libraries, senior centers and other venues. Historians, scholars and other experts offer more than 250 different humanities programs. Any non-profit organization may apply to host a Speakers Bureau program for a very low cost.
To showcase this statewide resource during Humanities Nebraska’s 50th anniversary year, HN offered a series of virtual programs in 2023. Each event was held over the noon hour (central) free of cost. The series was so popular, HN will continue to offer it in 2024!
