Gregory I. Carlson

Rev. Carlson is a Jesuit priest with bachelor and master’s degrees in Classics from St. Louis University and a doctorate in Classics from the University of Heidelberg in Germany.  He is an Associate Professor at Creighton and has been Chairman of the Classics and Modern Languages Department.  He now teaches in the Theology Department and is Associate Director of the Deglman Center.  For over 40 years, Rev. Carlson has been developing the Carlson Fable Collection at Creighton, which now contains over 10,800 books in 79 languages and some 10,000 objects representing fables.   He is eager to share the delights of the collection!
