July 3 and 4 will be jam-packed with events in Seward, Nebraska’s official Fourth of July City.

Events funded through a Humanities Nebraska grant include the following:

Four actors will represent the “Faces of Rushmore” – George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln – for the USA250 celebration at the Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward “Nebraska’s Fourth of July City”

Friday, July 3, 2026:
10am – Presidents & Generals Leadership Forum
2 pm – Chautauqua style presentations from the actors
7 pm – Concert: Celebrating the USA – 250 “One Nation – Many Stories” – Seward High School auditorium. 43rd Army Band with live presentations by Presidents of Rushmore—Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt.

Saturday, July 4, 2026:
10am and 1pm – “Meet the presidents”
