This general information session about grants may be useful for returning and new applicants to Humanities Nebraska in 2026.

The session will begin with an introduction to Humanities Nebraska and recent updates to HN’s grants. The remainder of the presentation will cover material similar to that presented in the October 2024 introductory Humanities Nebraska program grant recording. Questions are welcome at any time during the presentation, which will not be directly recorded. A link to a separate recording of the material will be sent to anyone who registers for this information session and will also be posted on the HN grants website.

This zoom session may be most useful for someone applying at these upcoming grant deadlines:

March 2 mini grant deadline
(for projects beginning on or after April 1, requesting $2,000 or less)

March 2 major grant deadline
(for projects beginning on or after May 1, requesting more than $2,000)

May 1 mini grant deadline
(for projects beginning on or after June 1, requesting $2,000 or less)

June 15 media grant deadline
(for media/website creation projects beginning on or after October 1)
