This Zoom event will start with a short discussion of the history of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and Humanities Nebraska’s relationship with the NEH, and then will open for informal conversation. This session may be most useful for someone applying at these upcoming grant deadlines:

• June 15, 2025, media grant deadline (for projects beginning on or after October 1, 2025)
• July 1, 2025, mini grant deadline (for projects beginning on or after August 1, 2025)
• August 1, 2025, major grant deadline (for projects beginning on or after October 1, 2025)
• September 2, 2025, mini grant deadline (for projects beginning on or after October 1, 2025)
