Dr. Goria Flores is a visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish and Latin American Cultural Studies in the Department of Modern Languages and Literature and is affiliated faculty in the Department of Dance at the University of Lincoln-Nebraska. Dr. Flores will present a Gallery Talk on the Feminine Image in Mexico and portraiture in the works by Frida Kahlo.

This gallery talk is in conjunction with the exhibit “Frida Kahlo and the Blue House,” which presents a selection of over 60 color photographs of the architecture and interior spaces of the Blue House created by Cristina Kahlo as well as vintage black and white photographs taken by Diego Rivera, Antonio Kahlo, Lola Álvarez Bravo, Florence Arquin, and Juan Guzmán.
