ESU 11 Summer Honors Program (registered students only)
June 13 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm CDT
The Summer Honors Program is a two-week, summer school program designed to help students learn as much advanced subject matter in their areas of study as possible. It is designed to help students find out exactly how far they can go in two weeks in one subject area if they are allowed to progress as fast as they can. During November each year, teachers are asked to nominate their best students in the areas of Architecture, Art, Creative Writing, Computer Science, Film, Office Intern, Logic, Psychology, Drama, Math and Medical Science. These students were given a test or asked to submit a portfolio of original work in order to qualify for the program. There were 277 student nominations for SHP 2025 from the six-county area served by Educational Service Unit #11 and 103 of those students were selected as finalists for the program based on their test scores, written work or portfolios and registered.
