Humanities Nebraska grants staff members are available to support you throughout the grant process. Our Grant Application Requirements page is a good place to start gathering information.

This page lists upcoming online grant information sessions. For questions about these opportunities, contact Grants Management & Outreach Specialist Katie Bradshaw.

In addition to the information sessions listed below, individual grant consultations are available during regular office hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. central time by phone at 402-474-2131 or email at [email protected]. HN grants staff will provide feedback on a draft grant application if the request comes a week or more before the deadline.

Questions may also be sent directly to individual grants staff members via email:

Online grants office hours

Humanities Nebraska is offering live online grant office hours with Grants Management & Outreach Specialist Katie Bradshaw. These office hours will take place via Zoom 2-4 weeks before each grant deadline.

The session will usually begin with a short presentation about some aspect of the HN grant process, and then open up for questions and discussion. Feel free to discuss your grant ideas, get clarifications about application questions, or ask anything else you’d like to know about humanities grants. The group setting allows everyone to learn from each other’s questions. These sessions are not recorded.

The link for each office hour Zoom will be sent to anyone who has applied to Humanities Nebraska for a grant in the last year, anyone who has signed up for a grant workshop, and anyone who requests to be added to the grants mailing list.

To request to be added to the Humanities Nebraska grants email list, please register below.

Next grants information session: Thursday, February 5 at noon central time / 11 a.m. mountain time.

This general information session may be useful for returning and new applicants to Humanities Nebraska in 2026.

The session will begin with a few recent updates to HN’s grants. The remainder of the presentation will cover material similar to that presented in the October 2024 introductory Humanities Nebraska program grant recording. Questions are welcome at any time during the presentation, which will not be directly recorded. A link to a separate recording of the material will be sent to anyone who registers for this information session and will also be posted on the website above.
