DESCRIPTION:This screening and discussion of the short documentary film “Abraham’s Bridge” is part of the ongoing series “Cultivating Care in Complex Times: Faith\, Friendship\, and Food Insecurity\,” exploring how relationships across difference can foster care\, resilience\, and shared responsibility. The series will culminate in a community event at the Unity Garden on the Tri-Faith campus on Sunday\, May 3. \nThe panel will be facilitated by Dr. Courtney Wilder\, Professor of Religion\, Midland University. Taylor Keen shares his 10 year journey to reclaim his Omaha tribal seeds and the teachings afforded by the Plant Nations. \nPresented by Taylor Keen\, who is of Omaha and Cherokee heritage and is a full-time instructor at Creighton University. Keen is the author of ‘Rediscovering Turtle Island: A First Peoples’ Account of the Sacred Geography of America” and the founder of Sacred Seed.
