DESCRIPTION:Prime Time Family Reading (for families with children ages 6 to 10) and Prime Time Preschool (for families with children ages 3 to 5) are six-week programs designed to strengthen early literacy skills\, critical thinking\, and family engagement. Each week includes an interactive reading of an award-winning children’s book\, discussion among families over themes found in the book\, and hands-on literacy activities for preschoolers. \nPrime Time is FREE to host and FREE for families to attend. Humanities Nebraska accepts applications from schools\, libraries\, community centers\, museums\, churches\, and other non-profit organizations. The application deadline to host a Spring 2026 Prime Time in Nebraska is December 1\, so now is the time to learn more. \nJoin us for an online Introduction to Nebraska Prime Time on Wednesday\, November 19\, at 12:00 Noon (Central).
