DESCRIPTION:Each Salon Reading Series event features a reading of a play followed by a moderated discussion of the play’s themes and how these themes apply to the community. The theme for 2024-25 is “Hold On.” This theme will explore concepts of holding on and letting go. \nThe Salon Reading Series is free and open to the public\, with two readings each week: \n\nthe first on Sunday afternoon at 2pm in the Turbine Flats Resonator Gallery at 2124 Y St\nthe second Wednesday evening at 6:30pm  in the Eastmont Living’s theater space at 6315 O St in Lincoln.\n\nFrozen Charlottes\nby Kim Louise\nDirected by TammyRa Jackson \nFour women fear for their safety during a 1958 killing spree in Nebraska. When their city is ordered into lockdown\, the women are trapped in a house together where they grapple with issues of identity\, race\, neurodiversity and power\, discovering that the danger inside the home may be far greater than the one outside of it. \nFor more information\, visit the Angels Theatre Company Salon Reading Series website.
