A Couple of 830 Mile Long Conversations - Traveling Exhibition and Community Dialogues

  • April 13, 2017

401-499 North 14th Street, Nebraska City, NE 68410, USA

The “A Couple of 830 Mile Long Conversations” project exhibit is being implemented by Stuart Chittenden with the sponsorship and support of the non-profit Omaha Creative Institute!

The presentations will showcase Stuart’s dialogic journeys throughout the state of Nebraska. As described from the project website: “There is little comparable work that creates and captures, at a collaborative human level, a statewide local sense of who Nebraskans are and how they speak of creating community. This project will capture the voice of Nebraska as it exists at a particular moment. Like a good conversation, it is ephemeral yet has resonance in its immediacy.” For more detailed information on the 830 project, please visit the website here.

The community dialogue begins at 7 p.m. and will be located at the Kimmel Gallery, within the Morton-James Public Library.
