Nearly $108,000 in grants awarded in April.

Jane Renner Hood honored with Mildred Bennett Award.

Jane Renner Hood, former executive director of the Nebraska Humanities Council (now Humanities Nebraska), was given the Mildred Bennett Award at the Nebraska Book Festival on Saturday, April 7. The award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the fostering of the literary tradition in Nebraska. Congratulations, Jane!
